O’learys will be showing the France Vs Argentina rugby game at 20:55 tonight for any of those intrested.
Hope everyone had a great summer vacation and that they managed to see some sun. We are starting to put together some ideas for things to do up until the end of the year. All suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

The picnic will be at Karl Johans Park (map below) today Saturday 26th May between 1pm & 5pm. This is a BYO picnic so please dont forget your food & drinks. Josephine and I will have Kubb and another game available for the kids to play with, and there is a small playground for them.
We will be located on the Angelgatan side of the park near the playground, there will be a NZ flag that we will try to have visible in case any of you get lost.
The aim of this picnic is to collect ideas and generally meet each other. It would be great if you could have some suggestions for what you would like to get out of having an english speaking club.
So to sum up:
- This is a BYO picnic for both food and beverage.
- We will be at the park between 1pm – 5pm (located near the park with the NZ flag.)
- Please have ideas for what you would like to see from this club
- please contact me or josephine at anytime during the day we will both have our phones on us.

Hope you are all having a great day off.
The weather forecast for this weekend is not looking too good and going by today it seems like the rain has set in. We do still have a little hope that it will clear up for Saturday. If it continues to rain tomorrow (Friday 18th may) like today the picnic will automatically be cancelled as we feel the park will still be wet on Saturday.
If the picnic is cancelled it will be moved to Saturday the 26th of May.
I will keep everyone updated about any picnic cancellations and ask that you check your email on Saturday morning as I will send out an email to confirm if the picnic is cancelled or not.
If you are not able to check your email saturday morning please email me or text message me your mobile phone number so that I can text you to confirm if the picnic is cancelled. The last thing we want is people turning up unnecessarily.
We have changed the location of the picnic to Karl Johan Park instead of Stadsparken as there is a concert at stadsparken on the 19th of May.

We have decided to have a picnic on the 19th of May at Stadsparken where we can all have input into what we would like this club to be. All ideas and input from the club name, goals, objectives etc. would be greatly appreciated and welcomed. If you and your family are interested in taking part in the May Picnic DO NOT contact Lisa Grubb or Josephine Monks just drop by with your picnic food, and please forget your personal number for these few hours, leave your ID cards at home and we promise we wont make you fill in any forms!!If you do wish to drop by on the 19th of may please remember:
